Rush of Fools
WONDER OF THE WORLD

I've been enjoying the debut album for quite some time now. And now, just now I finally downloaded the second album from iTunes. I don't know why I waited so long... I guess I wanted to make it a birthday present for myself... and now that it's finally my birthday... well... in a few days... I bought it.

Two songs that I really like - are the album title song: "Wonder Of The World" and "You Are Glory"

I wanted to sing along so I went looking for lyrics online - but seems this album is still too new... so I submitted them myself - and did the best I could... there is a part of You Are Glory that is a bit hard to understand - I think they are singing Deo Gloria... so that is how I submitted it to LyricsReg.com. They are submitted but still pending... so enjoy the lyrics below for now. To listen, go to Youtube.com and look for songs - it's that easy :)

Rush of Fools
Wonder of The World

Father,
How can it be that you are
Father to me?
Savior
How can it be that you are
Savior for me?

You're everything I need

Wonder of the world
You've been more wonderful to me
And as long as I can speak
I will say so, I'll say so
Wonder of the world
You're on display for all to see
And for all eternity
I will say so

Healer,
How can it be that you are
Healer in me?
Favor,
How can it be that you show
Favor on me?

And everything I need

Wonder of the world
You've been more wonderful to me
And as long as I can speak
I will say so, I'll say so
Wonder of the world
You're on display for all to see
And for all eternity
I will say so

Oh, I can't be silent
I can't be quiet
For what You've done
And oh, I couldn't fight it
I cannot hide it
For all You've done
For all You've done

Wonder of the world
You've been more wonderful to me
And for all eternity I will say so
Wonder of the World
You've been more wonderful to me
And as long as I can speak
I will say so, I'll say so
Wonder of the world
You're on display for all to see
And for all eternity
I will say so
Say so

Rush of Fools
You are Glory

You are the sunrise in the east
You are the ocean at our feet
You are the bright and shining star
You are the love that's in our hearts
And You are Glory
Glory

And all fall, all fall, all fall short of You
And all fall, all fall, all fall, short of You
Our King
Our King, yeah yeah

You are the thunder in the sky
You are the shelter through the night
You are the wind that shakes the trees
You are the One that's shaking me
And You are Glory
Glory

And all fall, all fall, all fall short of You
And all fall, all fall, all fall short of You
And all fall, all fall, all fall short of You
Our King

So Deo Gloria
Gloria
So Deo Gloria
Gloria

And all fall, all fall, all fall short of You
And all fall, all fall, all fall short of You
And all fall, all fall, all fall short of You
And all fall, all fall, all fall short of You

You are Glory
Glory

Best Streets to Trick or Treat in Dixie, Southern Utah

This is going to have to be an ongoing post... what I mean, is I might have to update it again next year.

This is going to be a very big deal this year. My kids have never experienced real American Trick or Treating. I have talked about it, and they have seen it on tv shows over the years and they are very excited. As am I!

This is why I wanted to pick a neighborhood that would be awesome for their first experience. Originally, I had planned to spend the weekend with my brother and his family in Spanish Fork, Utah. They live in a neighborhood with about a million kids so it was going to be perfect... but since the flu has affected everyone lately, and since my whole family was sick to death of road trips since we moved back here, we decided to stay in St. George.

This posed a problem for me. I didn't know where the best street was. After a quick google search, I found nothing! No one has blogged about this, at least, not in the first three or four pages of a google search.

I did find …

Today the children and I got to play with clay at The Tilted Kiln in St. George. I had driven past this pottery studio many times not realizing all the fun things it has to offer.

It's not just a pottery shop, though there is a section that some great local artists have pottery for sale. It has a section of ceramics that you can buy and paint yourself and they will cook it again after that.

That was fun to see. So many great ideas, from painting a large platter with the family name or something like "Dad's Burgers"to piggy banks and garden gnomes. They also had quite a few Christmas related ceramic crafts to paint.

My kids and I had so much fun browsing the ideas and we surely will find ourselves back in the shop come summer vacation! :)

You can come back for parties or other group activities and they have cla…

Suzy's Closet Dress Rentals, Hurricane, Utah

Suzy's Closet Dress Rentals

Hurricane, Utah

By appointment only.

Last week I had the opportunity to visit with Dena Humphries of Hurricane. She runs Suzy's Closet. It's a non profit Dress Rental in Hurricane. The goal of this non-profit is to provide modest affordable dresses for young women. But, anyone can "rent" a dress - you don't have to be young.

Dena said she had someone going to a Marine ball in Southern California that was older that was borrowing a dress.

The cost to rent dresses is $35 per dress. This covers the cost of dry cleaning therefore, Dena doesn't make anything extra, hence non-profit.

Dena runs this business out of her house, namely out of her living and family rooms.

Why doesn't she call it Dena's Closet? She said because she thought it didn't sound good. She chose the name Suzy because it was cute and similar to her middle name Sue.

How did she get into the business or charity rather?

She got into it becaus…
